I do the daily quests, farm Bergen Hot Springs, help my bro with vanquishing, hang around Kama and LA looking for cheap party and sweet points.

Generally just keep earning money so I can grind out the titles.

If I'd settled for "just playing the game", I would have quit long ago. Fortunately, having a guild of good people becoming good friends has made it a great deal more entertaining. We all pretty much consider it a "virtual night out" when we pile on Vent to decide what's on the agenda for the evening. In real life you may go bowling and have a few beers with your buds. Sure, you may go bowling every week, but with good company it's still fun. Well, in our little virtual world perhaps we'll head into Urgoz every other Saturday with a few cold adult bevarages in hand.

Help new guildies with the occasional mission, farm whatever for a little cash. I don't plan much, just go with what I feel like.

I'm lucky that I'm in a really good alliance. We have regularly scheduled events each week: Tuesday night is Mission Night, Wednesday is HM Night, Thursday is PvP Night, Friday is Alliance Adventure Night, and Sunday night is RP and Dungeon Night.

This past Friday night we did a crazy HM Urgoz run with all pets (trying out the new HaO buff) and minions. It was a blast with this giant horde on screen. Although healers having pets turned out to not be such a great idea!

I don't do much anymore. I finished my 4th EOTN reputation title on my Mesmer and I decided I was going to do for legendary vanquisher and cartographer with my rit. Unfortunately, I decided to go for cartographer after I vanquished all of Cantha so I'm at 95% and I really don't feel like running all over hugging walls to finish it. I'm in the process of mapping and vanquishing Elona but I can't even bring myself to finish one area a day.

I'm still attempting to solo every quest, mission and bonus in Normal Mode without heroes or henchmen. I'm at about 75% on all of my characters, and some of them are just plain nasty to try to accomplish.

Currently helping my son(twelve) go through all the campaigns. He got the trilogy and EOTN as a present from Mom and I. It is really cool watching him react to the game, provides a unique perspective for me.

I also get treated to things like this:

We were going through Venta's Cemetary Mission and he insisted that we go in a particular direction, instead of hugging the NW wall. I can see the Main Garrison ahead and say; Are you sure we should go this way? He says absolutely, next thing the warning about being too close to the garrison flashes up, again I say; Are you are sure? He says; Yep! and 1 second after that we get completely nuked. He says; Well I could be wrong!

I have lots of characters, most have quests still to do (I like to have a mostly empty quest log).....apart from that I do have a character working on gwamm, however, I need to get some of the account wide titles for that, so my other characters are helping with that as well as the accumulation of wealth---trying to fill up my material storage! currently finished with reg materials now moving on to damask, elonian squares, ink.....(things you can craft for a reasonable price with other materials).....

other wise I spend time with some of my mules--over the weekend I got one thru most of the kurzick area and got her all the kurzick skills. Others are working on cartography, guardian, while also bringing along keys for the wisdom/treasure/unlucky/lucky titles, and clearing the dang quest log. (and I still have some reg characters that have yet to finish nf or eye, or all the dungeons-which I hate).

I've been working on the Sorrow's Furnace quests (getting the black moa mini) for all characters. I've knocked out the area 5 times now, but am lacking motivation to finish it for the last 2. I don't know if I can tolerate the hard mode crap (slow and boring), and my guild is completely inactive, so I don't get to do any FoW/UW/Urgoz/Deep/DoA/Slavers runs. At this point, I just log on to do the Nicholas thing, check what the new Zaishen quests are, and log out. The thought of starting a new character makes my brain hurt. The areas were fun, but after 7 trips through everything, it is a bit played out.

I too would welcome new content, but I understand the desire to work on GW2 over GW1.

I did the main campaign and a large number of sidequests with a few characters. Was pretty fun making friends joining a guild and doing stuff or even just pugging it, although I don't doubt I could have had the same if not more enjoyment if I had subscribed to WoW. When I realized the depth of gw PvE was basically title grinding and accumulation of wealth/items rather than deep character customization or exploration (and lets be honest, the narratives are also kinda cheesy), I simply stopped playing. A year later I reinstalled the game and tried some higher end PvP. I've discovered that this is what the unique game mechanics were originally designed around, and where the game truly differs from other online Rpgs. That is what brings me back to Guild Wars now.

Mostly just working on titles, and finding way to make good cash for the other ones. Anyone got any ideas?

Log on, do the ZQ and marvel at how incredibly bloody stupid the people in PUGs are, then try to bring myself to Vanquish an area, lose interest, try to think of something else to do, leave GW running and play Thief 2 or HW2 or AvP or something like that.

Or go on /v/ and talk about vidya that I never play.

Play, and if I get the slightest bit bored I log out after I finish up what I am doing. Then i play something else.

Repeat most days.

Lately I've really been going out of my way to play professions or styles that I am not accustomed to and taking non-necro hero combinations. I'm not interested in title grinding at all and usually play so many different characters that it's pointless to devote too much effort to any particular one.

As a PvE player for many years, nowadays I've been doing light PvP... but for PvE I haven't done much lately. Farm a little here and there. Try some wacky profession combos and the most insane all out builds for fun and to experience the full dynamics of the game.
